Charisma Pryor, LCSW, provides personalized mental health counseling and therapy services as a Black social worker in Illinois and Wisconsin to clients of different races. Clients gain tools to address stress, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and more using a variety of treatment methods.
All services are provided HIPPA compliant.
Twenty-four year of experience successfully treating individuals, families, couples, and groups of all varying races as a Black female mental health counselor/therapist/social worker. The client measures their progress during the treatment and celebrates their accomplishments.
Counseling is a unique experience. It may require Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or breath work training to calm the mind or change your responses. Time management skills can be introduced to help balance relationships and roles. Play therapy is used with minors. Together we can discuss your concerns and then I will provide interventions and tools personalized to your counseling needs.
Ms. Faith Jackson, a Black counseling intern currently enrolled in Walden University's Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling program, is actively engaged in providing dialectical therapy to clients while simultaneously researching new and innovative treatment approaches, demonstrating a natural passion for helping others through the field of counseling.
Ms. Faith believes that every person has the power to create the life they want if they are willing to put in the work and commit. She receives weekly direct supervision and can access instant support if needed.
Sessions with Ms. Faith Jackson, a BIPOC therapist-intern are offered at a reduced rate and her groups are free. The reduced rate may add joy to your healing journey as therapy is now more affordable.
